Directions to the "Pecan Bottom"
Most of the Cowsert reunion activities are held at the Bennett Ranch "Pecan Bottom", about 15 miles west of Junction, Texas, just off Interstate 10. You turn off on the north side of the highway at the Ft McKavett road (1674) exit, cross back over I-10 to the south side. Then turn right and follow the road (which changes to gravel) down across the Llano river. Turn right at the "T" intersection and go about a mile to the Pecan orchard--a grove of large trees off to your right. (If you get to the ranch, turn around - you went too far!)
